The Singlecut electric guitar with mahogany body, Riegelahorn top, the glued mahogany neck in a strong profile and two PRS SE 245 pickups offer the best conditions for expressive playing between blues and rock. In addition, the PRS SE Bernie Marsden Limited Edition comes with the classic wrap around bridge and vintage style tuners.
For the construction of the PRS SE Bernie Marsden Limited Edition the classical ingredients for a singlecut electric guitar are used. Accordingly, the mahogany body carries a top made of curly maple, whose elegant flame is perfectly staged by the Dark Cherry Sunburst finish, while the mahogany neck is traditionally glued. Thanks to the"Wide Fat" profile and satin finish on the back, it is particularly comfortable to hold, so that licks and riffs play almost by themselves on the rosewood fingerboard.
A PRS SE 245 bass humbucker on the neck and a PRS SE 245 treble humbucker on the bridge create the best conditions for classic blues and rock sounds. The pickups have a relatively powerful output that gives the amplifier the right amount of"dirt" when needed, while the even sustain and airy dynamics invite you to play an expressive electric guitar. With the help of the classic circuit, which consists of 3-way toggle, as well as two volume and one tone controls, versatile timbres can be called up.
In addition, the PRS SE Bernie Marsden Limited Edition offers reliable hardware equipment. The classic PRS Designed Stopbar bridge sits accordingly on the body, whose compensated string support ensures a clean intonation. From the bridge the strings with 24.5" scale length (622 mm) are guided towards the headstock, on the PRS Vintage Style tuners for precise and stable tuning of the electric guitar.
