Presonus enters the next round with Studio One Professional and now in its fourth version offers further extensive, flexible and intuitive features that further improve the workflow. Especially this version is an upgrade from previous versions to the current Studio One 4 Pro. The popular one-window philosophy with its consistent drag & drop functionality is once again convincing, while features such as pattern/step sequencers, 5 additional virtual instruments, real-time time-stretching, two synthesizers etc. provide more inspiration when composing, producing, mixing or jamming. Studio One 4 Pro also comes with an unlimited number of audio tracks, MIDI tracks, busses and effect channels, a native 64-bit audio engine with up to 384 kHz, 40 effect plug-ins, Presence XT sampler with 14 GB of sounds, AAF support for exchanging songs/sessions with Pro Tools, Logic, Nuendo, Final Cut Pro, Premiere and much more - a real workhorse that leaves nothing to be desired. Other features include Impact XT and SampleOneXT for beat- or loop-based production and live sampling, multi-touch monitor support, and a macro toolbar for frequently used commands and programmable command combinations. A helpful, integrated mastering suite with automatic song mix update is available for the final touch on the track.
