Wind transducer with internal sound generation

The AE-30 Aerophone Pro from Roland is a professional wind transducer with saxophone fingering and cutting-edge Zen Core synthesis. The Pro model of the Aerophone series was developed in collaboration with renowned wind instrumentalists; thus, the sensor technology and control could be improved accordingly with extremely low latency for even better playability and response. The revised and slim designed instrument scores with high-quality materials, an easy-to-read OLED display and is equipped with professional connections.

Roland's leading sound generation

The Roland AE-30 Aerophone Pro's cutting-edge sound generation is based on the ZEN-Core and SuperNATURAL sound engines and allows for deep sound editing. Over 300 acoustic and electronic sounds, ranging from classical to modern to world music, offer something for just about every taste. All sounds can be given delay, chorus, Reverb & multi-effects thanks to the powerful effects processor. Detailed sound changes and the organization of the sounds is conveniently done with the free available Aerophon Pro Editor (iOS & Android) on your smartphone or tablet. The blow converter is playable on up to four parts, which is divided into three parts for instrument sounds and one for percussion. Thus, supported by a DAW, you can record a small arrangement single-handedly and play it back in the AE-30.

Expressive controller - at home, in the studio and on the road

The Aerophone Pro is not only a stand-alone instrument, it also allows you to control external devices via MIDI and USB. Thanks to the blow control, completely new possibilities arise that a keyboard cannot offer. By the way, the audio signal of the AE-30 is also transmitted lossless directly to the DAW via Bluetooth. This means that nothing stands in the way of a professional and clean recording. With the integrated loudspeaker, headphone connection and battery operation, you can play and practise for yourself and others as you wish.
