Acoustic Design Kit from Roland with wooden shells and TD-50X sound module.
The Roland VAD706-GE E-Drum Set Gloss Ebony Finish is a high-quality e-drum set equipped with wooden shells, digital pads and the TD-50X sound module. The module has 900 internal sounds and 100 drum kits stored. In addition, up to 24 minutes of user samples can be inserted. The Roland TD-50X sound interface uses Prismatic Sound Modeling. This technology enables a new level of dynamics and expressiveness, because the TD-50X module is able to interpret every little nuance of the player and implement it accordingly. The integrated USB audio/MIDI interface allows professional recordings with up to 32 separate tracks. 14 TRS trigger inputs (5 free) and three inputs for digital pads via USB are available. A full eight direct outs can be routed individually, allowing tracks to be sent separately into the mix. The TD-50X supports Roland digital pads, allowing high-resolution multi-sensor triggering of the snare, hi-hat and ride pads. The Roland VAD706 V-Drums Acoustic Design Kit features a 14'' snare and floor tom, a 10'' and 12" rack tom, and a 22'' bass drum for a natural feel. The shells are made of wood and are available in four finishes. They come with mesh heads that enhance the authentic acoustic feel while playing.
Mesh Heads and Full-Size Cups: Roland VAD706 V-Drums Acoustic Design Kit
The proven multi-layered and tension-adjustable Roland Mesh Heads of the Roland VAD706 V-Drums Acoustic Design Kit contribute a decisive part to the authentic playing feel. In addition, the hit rebound can be adjusted to your personal playing style. With each kick into the 22" bass drum, the air in the drum is set in motion, the air pressure thus generated brings authentic resistance and is indistinguishable from an acoustic bass drum. The shells of the Roland VAD706 V-Drums Acoustic Design Kit have the inspiring feel of a high-end acoustic kit. Each drum features excellent sensors to ensure a natural response and high-quality feel. For maximum stability, each of the included stands in the DTS-30S Hardware Set is double-braced for quick and easy adjustment.

Simon Phillips & Marco Minnemann Sound Pack with five drum kits
As an exclusive extra for Music Store customers, all colors of the Roland VAD706 are available including an extra sound pack on SD card with high-quality drum samples, created and recorded by Toto drummer Simon Phillips himself. The high-resolution samples offer an enormous dynamic and can't be beaten in sound quality and expressiveness. With these characteristics, the Simon Phillips samples are a great addition to the internal sounds, enriching the sound range of the TD-50X. In addition to the two Simon Phillips drum kits, you'll find two more kits on the SD card. These are a synth kit and a kit with drums from the 80s. Furthermore, there are three songs on the SD card that demonstrate the kits with original MIDI triggers by Simon Phillips. The fifth drum kit on the included SD card is an exclusive sound package of the German exceptional drummer Marco Minnemann, who now works as a musician in Los Angeles. Still in Europe, Marco Minnemann played with Paul Gilbert, Udo Lindenberg, Paddy Kelly, Terry Bozzio, Chad Wackerman, Wolfgang Schmid, Kreator, Mike Keneally and Nena. In the USA he worked with bands like "The Aristocrats", tours with Steve Wilson and Joe Satriani or the project "The Mute Gods" of Nick Beggs, the bassist and singer of the group "Kajagoogoo".
