The Metal! EZX features impressive new recordings by Daniel Bergstrand from Norway's unique Tanken Studios. The recordings of raw sounds were then remixed by Mark Lewis, Jason Suecof and Daniel Bergstrand himself and compiled into a total of 9 metal drum sets.

All three have each worked with both the most influential acts currently on the modern metal scene, as well as many innovative newcomers to this diverse genre: Meshuggah, In Flames, Trivium, Whitechapel, DevilDriver, The Black Dahlia Murder, God Forbid and Dimmu Borgir, and just to name a few.

The Metal! EZX also includes, as always, a huge selection of MIDI grooves and fill-ins, recorded by the scene's most celebrated metal drummer Dirk Verbeuren (Soilwork).
