The Truetone V3 VS-XO combines two overdrives of strong character in one cabinet and accordingly turns out to be the ideal sound supplier for all sound conoisseurs. Housed in the right half of the pedal, Drive-1 delivers a center-focused overdrive that gives the electric guitar a significantly increased presence in the band mix. The basic sound character can be set using the clipping switch, which selects different clipping diodes, while the usual controls for drive, tone, volume and clean mix allow the overdrive to be tuned. In addition, Drive-1 offers a three-stage bass switch for tuning the sound character in the low frequencies. In the left half of the Truetone V3 VS-XO, however, Drive-2 convinces with its amplifier-like, unadulterated overdrive, which reacts with inimitable dynamics to the player and the instrument used, whereby the classic layout with controls for drive, tone, bass and volume is available for adjusting the sound. Thanks to the Truetone V3 VS-XO's extensive connection options, the internal sequence of the overdrives can also be changed using a patch cable or both channels can be used as completely independent stomp boxes.
