The Vox Starstream Active Bass 1H Artist Metallic Red continues the tradition of innovative bass design that has made the British amp and instrument maker's name since the 1960s. The curved plastic frame surrounding the compact alder body of this four-string bass guarantees a comfortable playing position with optimum balance, whereas the bolt-on maple neck offers butter-soft playability thanks to its shorter scale length. In combination with the powerful Aguilar AG 4M humbucker, the short scale length also ensures extremely fat bass sounds. The Vox Starstream Active Bass 1H Artist Metallic Red is further equipped with the Aguilar OBP-2 2-band active EQ to adjust the tone and rounded off by a massive Gotoh 201B-4 bass bridge and precise Gotoh GB707 tuners.
