Zildjian S-Series China 18" Brilliant

The S-Series from Zildjian offers a versatile selection of cymbals with a very balanced frequency response. They are made of B12 bronze and can also convince in terms of price with moderate acquisition costs. All S-Series Cymbals have a compact, bright and expressive sound character which can be used universally in all modern styles.

Material and manufacturing

The base material of the S-Series is a B12 bronze alloy, consisting of 88% copper and 12% tin. And there's a reason for that: this alloy also gave the popular ZHT series an extremely successful existence back in the day, and finally Zildjian wants to build on this success with the S-Series.

All Zildjian S-Series cymbals are subjected to a pronounced hammering and get a fine lathing on top and bottom, which also does not leave out the bell. In this way, the cymbals not only get their precise weight, but also their direct response through all frequencies. With these features and the eye-catching Brilliant Finish, the Zildjian S-Series forms a cymbal series with open, shimmering cymbal sounds and a wide variety of models at fair prices.
