The Beyerdynamic T1 3rd Generation is a high-resolution, open headphone of the premium class with Hi-Res Audio certification. Both the dynamic drivers and their special arrangement in the housing were developed for optimal detail and perfect spatiality. Nevertheless, unlike most other headphones in its class, with only 32Ohm nominal impedance, it can be operated on standard headphone outputs without any problems and does not necessarily require an external headphone amplifier. Not only does the T1 impress with its outstanding sound, but also with its very high build quality that Beyerdynamic is known for, which guarantees durability and stability. The end caps on the ear cups are made of painted stainless steel and the rest of the metal parts are made of brushed aluminum, Alcantara microfiber was chosen for the covers. The included cables are routed down both sides of the earcups and are made of high-purity OCC 7N grade copper. Balanced connection cables are optionally available for even better, lower-noise transmission.
